“In the place where they kill the burnt offering shall they kill the trespass [offering, etc.] (see <030111>Leviticus 1:11): and the blood thereof shall he sprinkle round about upon the altar; on the upper part of it. There was a scarlet thread that was drawn around the altar in the middle, the blood of some of the sacrifices was sprinkled below it; and some above it, as was the blood of the trespass offering.”
