Sallu: The variation of סלו \[Strong's H5543\], Sallu, and סלי \[Strong's H5543\], Sallai, is simply caused by the mutation of ו, wav and י, yood. Neh 12:20, Sallai the chief: "The chief of the priests" seem to have been the heads of the courses established by David. Ch1 24:18 of Jeshua: Neh 12:1; Ezr 3:2; Hag 1:1; Zac 3:1 Nehemiah 12:8
