tabernacle: Exo 26:1, 2-37, Exo 31:7-9, 36:8-34 taches: Keraism, from karas, to bend, so called from their curved form; hooks, clasps, or anything used for the purpose of fastening. The word taches is formed by apheresis from the French attacher, to fasten. They were equivalent, perhaps, to our hooks-and-eyes. Exodus 35:12
