The whole of this heave-offering of Jehovah, i.e., the tithe of the tithe, they were to lift off from all their gifts, from all the tithes of the people which they received; "of all the fat of it," i.e., of all the best of the heave-offering they received, they were to lift off את־מקדּשׁו, "its holy," i.e., the holy part, which was to be dedicated to Jehovah. Numbers 18:30
