The fierce anger of the Lord shall not return, etc.] This explains what is meant by the continuing whirlwind in (<243023>Jeremiah 30:23); until he hath done [it]; his whole will and pleasure; brought Babylon to ruin, and destroyed all the antichristian powers: and until he hath performed the intents of his heart; in a way of grace and mercy to his people, and in a way of wrath and vengeance on their enemies: in the latter day ye shall consider it; this prophecy, and understand it; and see it wholly and fully accomplished.
