And the gate of the inward court was over against the gate toward the north, and toward the east, &c.] Or, “and as to the east”f700; that is, the north gate of the inner court was directly opposite to the north gate of the outward court; just as the eastern gate of the inward court was in a straight line opposite to the eastern gate of the outward court: and he measured from gate to gate an hundred cubits; from the north gate of the outward court to the north gate of the inward court; and it was exactly of the same distance from one another as on the left side; (see <264019> Ezekiel 40:19).
