And the little chambers thereof were three on this side, and three on that side, &c.] As in the eastern gate, and the measures the same, (<264007>Ezekiel 40:7). Gospel churches in the latter day will be all on the same plan, and modelled according to the same pattern, and be in just the same order, one as another: and the posts thereof, and the arches thereof, were after the same measure of the first gate; the eastern gate: believers will be all pillars in the church of God, and partakers of the same like precious faith: the length thereof was fifty cubits, and the breadth five and twenty cubits; (see <264013>Ezekiel 40:13,15).
