They shall also strip thee out of thy clothes, &c.] As such who are taken captives are usually served: and take away, thy fair jewels; their ornaments of every kind: or “the vessels of thy glory”f359; Kimchi observes this may be meant either of the garments of the priests, and the vessels of the sanctuary; or of whole spoil of the city in general, whether in the temple, or in other houses.
